Video issues

 

If you experience any issues with the live stream, please try to refresh your browser.

 

The video players ussually have the possibility to change bit rate of the stream. This should happen automatically, but can also be overwritten by the viewer. You might try to go to a lower bit rate should you experience a lot of buffering.

 

You get to this setting by hovering over the player and the settings are usually located on the right side (cog wheel or similar)

 

Sound issues

 

If there is no sound, please check the player and make sure that it is not muted. If you hover of the player with your mouse you should see a speaker symbol and there you can mute/unmute the audio. If you still have no sound, check your sound controls on your computer to make sure that your main audio is not muted or volume is set very low.

Player should start unmuted, but only if your browser allows for this so make sure you have the correct settings in the browser or manually unmute.

If you hear the audio more than once (echo) please make sure that you are not having the event page opened in multiple tabs or browser windows.

 

Other problems?

 

Should you experience any other problems, please contact the event organizers (where you got the link to this webcast). NB! It is very important that you give a somewhat extended explanation of the problem. So simply stating "The webcast does not work" or "The link does not work" is not really helpful, but please explain what goes wrong and what steps you do/did to experience it. So for example "I clicked on the link provided, but the page is showing an error, see the attached screenshot" is so much more useful to actually be able to give an explanation to why this problem occurs.
